Our mission is to make moving easy and transparent, everytime.
Our Story
Moofer was founded by Sydney based husband and wife team Jackson and Meilinda Tan in 2019.
Our removal and logistics business, which we founded in 2016, had grown rapidly, and due to the huge increase in demand, our team was struggling to fulfil all the jobs that were coming in. In order to solve this problem and scale our service capabilities, we started to investigate how we could get other businesses to join us.
Jackson, with a background in engineering, believed that technology was the key to accomplishing this and we launched Moofer for iOS and Android – an app platform where you can always find trusted and reliable removalists to move your house, office, pick up a sofa or shift that heavy bookcase. We want to make your next move painless, cost-effective and easy so you can get on with the next chapter of your lives.

Jackson Tan
Director & Co-Founder
A graduate from the University of Technology (UTS) Sydney, and with experience working in the engineering industry and operating his own logistics business since 2016, Jackson excels at continuously improving and developing new business processes. Moofer brings together all his skills.
Meilinda Tan
Operations Manager & Co-Founder
Having managed the business since the beginning, Meilinda knows about the removalist industry inside out and is a customer service extraordinaire. Meilinda is a savvy business woman and extremely focused at communicating well with customers and understanding their needs.
CINDY BONG
Office Administrator
Cindy has recently joined the Moofer team and has already shown herself to be an extremely dedicated business admin. Cindy is passionate about what she is doing and has developed strong relationships across our network of Moofers to make sure each job is executed well.
